Treasures of Tahiti Product & Company Info
Pairu Hutihuti, Owner of Tahitian Treasures, is native to Tahiti. She is the owner of her independent Polynesian jewelry, apparel, and flower shops located inside the Polynesian Cultural Center’s new Hukilau Marketplace located in Laie, Hawaii. She danced for PCC in the early 80s in their evening show, canoe show, and Tahitian village. She also had the opportunity to travel the world as part of PCC"s Promotion Team. She is honored to share and preserve the arts and crafts at PCC. Her great Uncle, Tahauri Hutihuti, inspired her to share her creative talents and culture to make people happy. Her specialties are hand-painted and printed sarongs, mother-of-pearl jewelry, Maori poi balls, Hawaii gift, and souvenir fashion jewelry. Recently, she was asked to become PCC’s exclusive fresh flower vendor. She creates one-of-a-kind floral crowns and fragrant flower leis. Several famous models have adorned her floral crowns in their photo shoots which has attracted a lot of attention to our shop from PCC guests and the media.
